HOLISTIC MASSAGE
The ultimate ‘feel good’ treatment, holistic massage can offer
deep relaxation as tension and tiredness is eased from the body allowing
you to step back from the pressures of life. Treatment of the neck, shoulders,
back or whole body uses specific massage and stretching techniques to reduce
tightness of the muscles, support circulation and boost lymphatic flow.
A deep tissue treatment uses deeper pressures, frictions and strokes either
along or across muscle fibres to break down tightness and scar tissue that
may be affecting efficient muscle function. Although some aspects of deep tissue
treatment can be uncomfortable it does allow the release of chronic tensions that
can result from work, sport or injury. · Holistic Massage treatments are £35 per session.
INDIAN HEAD MASSAGE
Indian Head Massage uses relaxing strokes applied all over the upper back,
shoulders, neck, head and face. This treatment offers an instant de-stress
and may be of particular benefit for those suffering from headaches of migraine,
eye strain, sinus problems, poor hair condition and stress. · Indian Head Massage treatments are £35 per session.
REFLEXOLOGY
Reflexology is a treatment of specific areas of the feet aimed at dealing
with the whole person and not just prevailing symptoms. It is used to restore
and maintain the body’s natural equilibrium.
A deeply relaxing, gentle and enjoyable therapy, reflexology can offer effective relief.
It can help with migraine, infertility, arthritis, sleep disorders, hormonal imbalances,
digestive disorders and stress related conditions.
What will happen during a treatment? The therapist will have a preliminary talk to you
to determine your present and past lifestyle. The reflexologist will then use their hands
to apply pressure to the feet. The application and the effect of the therapy is unique to
each person. A treatment session will last just over one hour. · Reflexology treatments are £35 per session.
BOWEN TECHNIQUE
Bowen Technique is a simple and gentle, hands-on therapy during which the therapist will use
thumbs and forefingers to make a series of precise, rolling-type moves over muscle. During the
treatment there are a series of short breaks where the client is left resting to allow the body
to respond to the gentle moves that have been performed. This rest period is an important part
of the treatment and gives the body time to make the subtle and fine adjustments which help to
re-balance, relieve tension and reduce pain. It is these features that make the Bowen technique unique. · Bowen Technique treatments are £35 per session.
HOPI EAR CANDLES
Treatment with Hopi Ear Candles creates a light suction or chimney effect whilst the
vibration of the burning candle creates a massage action within the ear canal.
This induces a pleasant feeling of warmth and a balance of pressure in the ears, forehead and sinuses.
It is particularly helpful for earache, headache, tinittus, sinusitis and stress. · Hopi Ear Candle treatments are £35 per session.
